At one point in parenthood do you look to you kids as the hope for your future? Is their future much more important than mine? Their plans supercede mine? interesting thought... you know the whole living through your kids thing. I was thinking about that when i was playing slowpitch, baseball is so much cooler, Oak will play baseball. I may currently be more exited for teeball than my softball games, odd changes. A year ago these words never existed. 

Sorry about the change, you shouldn't have to help move things, or hear those words. Ish.

One solid year, it seems it was just last week, just last month, not last year, not a year ago. Certain things seem to make it seem so fresh. 

Last night I slept with the same blanket I always did when I slept under HER roof. 

The surroundings will change, the faces will be new but we all had Sunday..

Old Soul; people say you may have an old soul. What does that mean?

My life experiences when i was younger were somewhat limited, sheltered if you may. This however may have made me an immature seventeen. The fact that the life experience the areas associated with seventeen are ones that may slow your progression in life has made me an old 24.

Seriously, what has happen. The dramatic change in a few short months. You think you get over things and move on. Nope, not one bit. One thing about loss is that it is a wound that can easily be reopened, its like having a cut right where your finger bends. 

Loss affects everyone differently, we are all witnesses to that. 

Wasnt there time to think all this through. It seems nobody knows what everyone is feeling. disconnection
