Confidence. The Bible says not to throw it away. Follow through with your confidence when it is of God. I think about this all the time. Who shakes your confidence, rattles you, makes you question? For me it has always been work, relationships(friends and family) and results/expectations. Every time it was shaken I was so distant from God, the daily grind of work was not prayed over. My relationships were not Christcentered and the expectations or results were of Wordly measure. As time goes in and I pray over work I feel a balance. I remove myself from relationships that pulled me away and i draw closer to God. And when I take every step to Honor Him and work to reward Him I feel His blessing.

I'm not who I was. And this is a slow process but each day presents me an opportunity to mature in Christ. He created me, and because of that I am called to Love myself and make myself better THROUGH Him!!!

Devotionals

Everyone has crazy things going on I their lives. Life has been particularly crazy for A and myself this year.
She has held on through devotions. A gift her parents passed on to her and one we will pass to the boys. This was new for me and has been a challenge to stay consistent daily. This year has been wild but people like Jason Zimmerman, Dave Reeves and of course Amber have held
me close trough their devotions daily and using them to impact me. I'm grateful for them. I pray to return the favor or pass it forward.

Clarifies and guides. You here people say I give up, I cannot go on, I've had it, I'm done, what's the point... I've said it numerous times and I hear others say it. They maybe in to something, Be Done. Stop Chasing the World, Follow Christ, you do not have to Chase Him, He calls and we need to answer wholeheartedly. We will suffer and it will not be easy but suffering comes to show others that we have Victory in Christ. To allow us to see Him at Work, if this was easy we would see people coerced into Christ, God wants us completely, all of us through Faith. Suffering and Worrying are inevitable apart from God and only he can provide the reassurance and solution you worry for and suffer towards

Pray: My Master and my God, forgive me for always wanting an easy life. I admit that I don't want to suffer, and I don't like it when things go wrong. But I ask You to help me have a good attitude and to trust You to bring good out of it. I pray this in the name of Jesus Christ. Amen.

You think you know

At the end of the Day, your not actually going to know someone like you think you do. She will be the only one that knows me ever.
People you think you know will let you Down, don't place too much into those relationships. Your family will hold you... They will fight for me, and Amber guides me, Fights for me. Stands up for me, holds me and knows me... Find this someday!! Through God.

Restless

It seems more often than I should be I am fighting the secular humanism that abounds around me. I understand that it fills my mind with attempts to counter. But what I fail to understand is how much it peels me away from my personal walk. As I focus and spend so much time on countering with witty comments, links or symbols of my staunch opinion the more I fall away from personal growth. Satan exists... Don't deny his existence. My hope is to update this with a walk or symbol of my journey more often, accountability.
