For all the concern Amber and I had about Oak becoming a new big brother, i couldn't be more relieved. He has been an amazing listener, helper and lover of all things Callahan. He blows me aware with his maturity and grace. Couldn't be more proud of my Boys... huh that felt weird, my boys. I like it...

Do you ever watch a movie and you find yourself so involved, so connected that it scares you, makes you think you should make some big change??

Im not talking about movies like Avatar or something random like that but those other movies, those ones that connect. I guess thats why they make millions... huh random

The weekends are super tough, i feel like i constantly need to be doing something, putting something together, doing an activity for a result. yikes. So do people ever truly retire?? without a hobby you want successfully enjoy retirement?

how many farmers do you know that golf? few if any? farmers never stop farming...

So Callahan should be arriving shortly. We painted his room. my heads spins at the thought of completing this stripe task however, the attention to detail skill i never received from my Dad showed up for me. Thanks Dad.

it is probably not possible to dream of spring as much as i have in the past couple of weeks.

Mom and Dad are moving to Florida and it is bittersweet.

Warm Vacation spot yes, the comfort of a drive away, no.

Should be an interesting change, one with loads of anticipation.

my first thought, honestly, was Oakley rounding third base and dad giving him the big wheel towards home with a red B.U.M equipment shirt on. Not sure why that popped into my head, but i am sure a few of you know. I get the feeling that a video camera will be overused by my in the coming years and this BLOG will surely blow up quite often.

the time i farted and he went and got a wet wipe...

the time he smelled my feet for the first time and said pew...

the first time he hit a baseball and ran around the imaginary bases on his own accord...

the first time he said I Love You...

the first he said please, dadda, please when begging for more chips...

the first time he got super excited about watching football with me...

but what would the date do for us, the visual is entrenched in my head, that counts.

This has been a tough year, first time i ever grooved out and realized what the next 20 looks like, but i'm content.

Why would it feel like a career change at 26, would be as life altering as a career change at 40?

If I dont get my A6, its okay, have i given up, in a bigger pursuit of content?? who knows?
